Greetings from Moscow!

The club would like to say a big hello to four VMFC supporters, Alex, Dmitry, Ruslan and Dmitry all of whom live in Moscow and keep track of our progress via this website.

The four lads contacted the club following an article which was written about our club in the Russian newspaper The Metro.

With England safely through to the World Cup in 2010, unfortunately these Russian supporters are not so happy following their country failing to progress past Slovenia in the play-offs. Dmitry said "Russian national football team has failed to reach the final part of the 2010 football championship. It was hard to accept that for our country the World Cup was over. In the last match against Slovenia our players looked weak and sickly. As fans we were shocked and upset deeply, because it was unjust but life goes on! We hope that someday we will be much stronger and lucky". He added "we know England has a chance in the world cup in 2010 so we wish the ancestors of football good luck! We will root for England victory".
