Daniel 'Sick note' Shapiro is a 31 year old bald man. Born in London, he somehow and somewhat unbelievably found himself supporting Manchester United and living in Manchester. He lives in West Didsbury and is self employed, hoping to one day be a self made millionaire.
Shappers joined the club pre World War II and plays all over the pitch. He's VMFC's very own Ji Sung Park; "Full of energy and running, great at tracking back and getting stuck in." His favourite player is Titus Bramble - "what a touch" - and rather nicely puts his penalties slowly into the path of the keeper. His favourite pin up is the immensely gorgeous Samantha Fox, and one of his pastimes includes knitting with Grandma Shapiro. Dan has numerous hobbies - too many to incorporate nicely into a flowing sentence so they are simply listed below!

He doesn't enjoy being a part of VMFC, and one of his favourite moments was when Justin Morley got banned for three months; "It meant I got to play centre midfield". Shapiro's next favourite moment was when Mr Morley moved to London.
