Probably Eagle. I used to like Oscars but one of the cocktails has the same name as my mum. People started saying they were drinking my mum and it’s never really been the same for me since then. 

 

What do you do for a living:

 

Insurance Solicitor. (Yes, it is as rock ‘n’ roll as it sounds). 

 

Do you participate in any other sports:

 

Does competitive eating count? My current record stands at 9 consecutive full plates of Chinese buffet in one sitting. Other than that I do a lot of running (mostly running off all the food I’ve eaten)!

 

What else do you do to relax:

 

That I’m willing to admit online? Hmm… Drink. I spend a lot of time attending various country music gigs (Yeehaw!). Otherwise I sit at home giggling to myself about crap one-liner jokes I’ve read online. I would tell you the one about the time I had a poo in a lift, but that’s just taking sh*t to another level.

Game of Thrones. I’ve read all the books. Twice. Every day I wake up and say a little prayer that George R. R. Martin won’t die until he’s finished writing them. He doesn’t look like the world’s healthiest man and I’m concerned they seem to be taking him a very long time.

I like everything from Silence of the Lambs to Tangled (there’s a horse that thinks it’s a dog, what’s not to love?!)

What made you want to try VMFC out for the first time?:

 

Having played for the Newcastle Panthers I had played against VMFC a couple of times and had a few nights out with the guys.  When I moved to Manchester it seemed the natural choice and I’ve not looked back since. 

 

Why should new players join VMFC:

 

So many reasons! It is a fantastic club, really well run, and full of friendly and welcoming people. It’s open to everyone, of all abilities, and will help you improve both your fitness and football ability. We take part in tournaments all over the country and overseas. There’s also plenty of opportunities for a good night out too which always helps.
