A strong start from Lawds and a slow start from Village led to the home team going two up by 10 minutes. Village came back with some inspired play and great teamwork to equalise by 25 minutes, with two cracking Bolgar goals and lovely Wilson assist. Sadly Lawds were to score again just before the half time whistle. 

 

A dull second half gave Lawds a fourth goal while a third Village goal from Bolgar was disallowed as the ref decided manager Connell, coming on as an unexpected sub, had shoved the goalie. He hadn't, of course.

 

All in all, neither team deserved the points and Village cannot complain about the result.
