Ten teams took part in the preliminary first round on 20 September 2015. VMFC was not required to take part in the first round. 

 

Northern Cup

Seven GFSN teams from Scotland and Northern England took part in the inaugural Northern Cup

 

AJ Memorial Tournament

On Sunday 20 December 2015, Village Manchester traveled to Nottingham to play in a tournament in memory of Andrew 'AJ' Beavis who had sadly died in October. Three teams took part in addition to VMFC: Yorkshire Terriers, Nottingham BallBois and a joint Nottingham Lions & GFSN team. VMFC won the tournament.

Four group stage divisions with each match in groups 1, 2 and 3 being ten minutes long and each match in group 4 being 15 minutes. Teams then split into two divisions. Quarter final, semi final and final matches 15 minutes. Five a side. VMFC took two teams with the first team winning the tournament and the second team getting to the Second Division (Vase) semi final.

GFSN Summer Tournament 2016

GFSN's annual 7-a-side tournament, this year hosted by Leicester Wildecats. VMFC took two teams, with eight players in the second team and seven in the first. All matches 15 minutes long.

 

VMFC1 wins the tournament.

Six teams took part to mark the club's 20th anniversary, including the first ever outing for the Village Elders, our veterans' team, and therefore  the first time VMFC put out three 11-a-side teams at the same time.
