I got involved with VMFC because I wanted to mix with guys that had the love of football which I did and were also in the same boat as me, in terms of my sexuality, which previously to joining had no idea things like this existed.
Why should new players join VMFC:
I think anybody that has any interest in football should get involved with VMFC. It's a very welcoming club and great to be involved with. It's such good fun training with the lads and there's always a place for you, whatever level you're at. Since I started playing for VMFC I've met some great people and made some good friends and wish I'd got involved with VMFC a lot sooner.
