Umbro Cup Fixtures

Fixtures for this years Umbro Cup have been announced with Village FC being drawn in the Umbro Corporate Cup Group 1

For the 3rd year running, Village FC will compete in the annual Umbro International Cup at the University Sports Ground in Wythenshawe on 25th and 26th July.

 

The Umbro Cup is Europes largest Men's Open Age soccer tournament and will feature 100+ teams from all over the UK and Europe.

 

Village FC will play 3 games on Saturday with their final group game on Sunday however this could increase to 3 games on Sunday dependant on how far we progress. 

 

Matches will be 25 mins each way in both the group and knockout stages. The top two teams in the group will progress into the knockout stages with 3rd and 4th moving into the plate competition. The team finishing 5th in the group will be eliminated from the competition.

 

In the knockout stages, games that are drawn after normal time will go straight to penalties.

 

Village FC's Group fixtures are as follows:

 

  • Balfour Beattie vs Village Manchester. Sat 25th KO 12.30

  • FC Dale vs Village Manchester. Sat 25th KO 14.30

  • Collyhurst FC vs Village Manchester. Sat 25th KO 16.30

  • Royal London vs Village Manchester. Sun 26th KO 11.00
