Coaching
VMFC seeks new coaches
Village Manchester Football Club is seeking paid coaches for their main and reserve teams, commencing in early September. The ideal candidates will preferably hold at least the FA Level 2 coaching badge and have some experience coaching adults at a competitive level.
Training will be held at 7pm at Trinity Sports Centre near the University every Wednesday evening, with the coaching will take place from 19:15 until 20:15.
VMFC is Manchester’s gay and inclusive football club. Our First XI compete in the Lancashire and Cheshire league, where we won promotion two seasons ago and this season reached the final of the Whitehead Cup. The Reserves compete in the Manchester Amateur Sunday Football League, while the club also jointly participates in the Gay Football Supporters Network Cup, which this season we won.
The coaches will ideally work closely on the managers’ feedback from matches to help both teams fulfil their maximum potential. If you are interested, please apply contact us detailing your qualifications and coaching experience. Coaches will be contacted for interview in due course.
